The reason for downvotes on INFP comments isn't because people dislike INFPs, but because looping arguments are fallacious and baseless, relying on the idea that anyone with an attachment to the past with hints of emotional connection are Fi-Si looping, which is an inherently shallow analysis. The idea of loops existing is debatable, it was never part of the original theory. Where is her Ne, if she is an INFP? If one does not display any Ne at all, then they are not an INFP, even if "looping" - a function does not entirely disappear. Someone downvoting a comment doesn't mean that they are forcing an opinion on others either, no one is forcing anyone to change their beliefs. (Also, INFP LSI is ridiculous and impossible) Just because Ei and the Shogun are different does not mean that Ei cannot be an IxTJ either. Ei's Ni seems rather clear to me in her valuation of her transcendental ideals and disregard for the present for the sake of them. She does not hold the same sentiments to the concrete the same way an Si user would, neither does she use them to envision expansive possibilities. Her dominant Ni may not manifest in a typical manner due to the fact that she has isolated herself for literally centuries, even renouncing her own unconscious. However, this attachment to eternity and stillness does not mean she is an Si user just because it holds ties to everlastingness. She does not store sensory data through concrete impressions: her focus on eternity is abstract and tied to her own subjective impressions, ignoring contradictory data because it is based on her own subconscious ideals. She is motivated by the big picture, hence her sacrificing everything for the sake of a singular end goal, one that she believes is better for everyone. This is formed from external perception (Se-Ni), but her ideas are not as connected to subjective sensorial patterns the way Si-Ne users tend to work. This abstract perception of hers is very single-minded, not one that you see in Ne users, with the connection being geared towards her metaphysical and intangible framework. With that being said, her inferior Se was also one of the most prominent parts of the Archon quest; she entirely shut herself off from the outer world, refusing any sort of outside stimulation all for the sake of this singular insight of hers. She has zero Ne. Although her Fi may seem obvious, this does not call for a loop. Her judging axis is particularly balanced as it is in the middle after all. I do not think it would be as unbalanced as the dom-inf is - her entirely repudiating the physical word for the sake of her own abstract beliefs shows that her perceiving axis being in the first and last slots is more likely. Why does she believe the Vision Hunt Decree to be suitable, despite the Traveler being adamant in how it harms Inazuma? From a disconnected standpoint, it fulfils her overall goal for eternity, and produces the desired results. Te is by at large focused on results and accomplishment, and I see this in how she enforces certain beliefs of hers. She needs to understand the ambitions of her people and its objective accomplishments (in the fight against her) before she retracts the decree. It is also seen in her conversation with Yae. She looks towards her subjective principles, requiring external data to align with her personal values before she acts: Te-Fi work in tandem in her decision making. Her Fi-Te usage is very obvious, but what looks like Si is mostly a natural reaction to withdrawing from the world for that long. Her absolute lack of Ne does not make sense for an INFP.
