Following traditions doesn't indicate Si. Just because someone's an Ni dom doesn't mean that they're weirdos who reject traditions in society. Ni is difficult to spot, but it's actually quite obvious if you pay close attention to the story. I'd advise everyone to revisit the dialogue in the quests if you're still unsure about where she displays Ni. It's much more than just talking in metaphors or working towards a future. Si is grounded in reality and tangible evidence based on details, while Ni doms focus on abstractions and the big picture. Ayaka is very comfortable with making conclusions based on details that don't initially seem to have any relation at all. One of the most obvious examples is how she deduced that Tsubaki, her mother's friend, was a fox envoy. Paimon: Um, while we're on the topic though- who is this Tsubaki person anyway? Ayaka: Well, I think I have an idea, but it's speculative at this point. I think that Tsubaki... might be a fox envoy! Paimon: A fox envoy? Ayaka: Yes, that's what I think. Even I, my mother's daughter, had never even heard of this friend before. It just seems so mysterious. So I think it must be someone with transcendent abilities who doesn't show themselves very often. And fox envoys are nothing new. Stories have been told about them in Inazuma since ancient times. You must have met Yae Guuji before? Well, she's a fox envoy! That got me thinking, maybe there are fox envoys out there in Inazuma that people just don't know about... and maybe Tsubaki is one of them. Tsubaki is mysterious. She must have magical powers. Fox envoys have magical powers. Yae Guuji is living proof of a fox envoy. Therefore, Tsubaki might be a fox envoy. Ayaka's thinking has no grounding in reality, and it's not based on past experiences that Si users would rely on. It's pure speculation that makes sense to her subjective framework, but not to sensors and their focus on the objective facts. She pulled random details that one wouldn't normally associate with each other and converged them. Her one-track-mind led her to the singular conclusion that Tsubaki was a fox envoy, and she failed to consider other possibilities like the possibility that Tsubaki was actually her mom herself roleplaying as a normal person, which turned out to be the case in the end. Si doms don't like dealing with abstractions like these, because they can't be supported with tangible evidence that they can sense. To them, Ni doms seem like they jump to conclusions too quickly or make baseless assumptions out of nowhere. Ni doms will believe something if it fits the inner framework of their head, but they often struggle with proving it to others with facts and evidence due to their inferior Se. Also, when Thoma disappeared, Ayaka immediately connected it to Raiden Shogun's ceremony for taking the 100th vision and reasoned that Thoma was the one who was captured. Again, two details that don't seem to have any relation to each other, nor can they be proven with tangible evidence, yet her Ni unconsciously sorted those details together and drew that conclusion. However, unlike with Tsubaki, her conclusion turned out to be right this time. Ayaka relies heavily on her intuition and uses it to form a big picture. She does not rely on her past experiences or focus on the details themselves. Si doms don't like jumping to conclusions unless they can support it with details from their environment or from their memory. Due to their inferior Ne, speculating other possibilities deviating from the norm is usually a waste of time, since they're not grounded in reality nor can they be sensed in the present. Ni doms aren't psychics who can easily predict the future correctly 100% of the time. It just means that they rely on abstractions that make sense in their head rather than relying on things they can sense in their environment, and a lot of times their conclusions can end up wrong, such as Ayaka's conclusion on Tsubaki being a fox envoy. Can any ISFJ voters actually demonstrate how she's an Si dom besides using stereotypes such as relying on tradition?
