Honestly, these guys are Te personified (excessively so, taken alll the way to its negative extreme). Like, it's woven into every atom of their being (maybe that's partially why I'm so fascinated with them, I'd like a tiny bit of that cause my own Te kinda sucks lol). They don't care what they do as long as it serves their ruthless and pragmatic efficiency. You can see it in their demeanor, their aesthetic, architecture, etc. There's no flashy or extravagant displays of their status, no decorations, no dramatic reactions. Just cold, unnerving, efficient and controlling existence. They might as well be running on those cold and calculating algorithms that spiralled out of control aeons ago. I am honestly curious of anyone more well-versed in typology has any input about their Fi, in what ways does it possibly manifest in them. Cause I myself cannot think of any examples. Maybe it's actually the point, their Te takes up so much space that there's literally no room left for anything "feely". Dark, scary stuff but very intriguing nonetheless.

The Universal Union, known colloquially as "The Combine" (KOM-bine) is a cruel, inter-dimensional empire composed of many species-- some allied, and some enslaved. It seeks to expand its dominion and assimilate species into itself (hence the name). The Xen lifeforms came to Earth not to invade, but to escape from the Combine. Unfortunately, however, the Combine followed them, invading and overwhelming Earth in just seven hours. The Combine went on to lay waste to Earth and to the human race, and it assimilated many humans into its on-world military, the Combine Overwatch. The Combine is the main antagonist force in Half-Life: Alyx, as well as in Half-Life 2 and its episodes.
