Sunrise on the Reaping is a YA prequel novel to the dystopian fictional world of The Hunger Games trilogy written by American author Suzanne Collins. It is set twenty-four years before the events of The Hunger Games, starting on the morning of the reaping of the 50th Hunger Games, also known as the Second Quarter Quell. The book was announced on June 6, 2024 by Scholastic Press, and set for release on March 18, 2025.
