Upside Down Magic is a book series written by Sarah Mlynowski, Lauren Miracle, and Emily Jenkins. The series is centered around Nory Horace who sent to a school with a program called "Upside Down Magic", a class for students with magic that does not fit into any of the five categories. The five categories are: Fluxers, Flares, Fuzzies, Flyers, and Flickers. Fluxers have the ability to transform or "flux" into animals, Flares have the ability to control heat and fire, Fuzzies have the ability to communicate with animals, Flyers have the ability to fly, and Flickers have the ability to make themselves or turn other things invisible.
