ENTJ because he envisioned to make Adam race turn their faith from Allah as much as he can until the day of judgement (Ni). And he did this not because he wants to satisfy intellectual hunger (Ne and Ti). He really hates Adam and his race, because they were inferiors according to him but somehow they hold special place in Allah's eyes. He wants to make human race end up in hell as much as he can and he meant it! He will pursue it (Te and Ni). This is his main motivation. So one of his plan is making human acting like animals, making human acting like a fools which probably amused him (Se), because human are inferiors. Iblis lived longer than the entire human race, so his knowledge about human inside and out is probably a lot. This knowledge helps him strategize plans of bringing the downfall of humanity. Sorry for my English. People always making out iblis (lucifer) as some kind of jokerster-ish type of villain which is why people think iblis is an ENTP. If you read his story, he is not that kind of villain. He is like that kind of villain who do things behind the scene and is a top mastermind of all the bad things that happens, but publics had no idea who he is.
