Shouzou Kaga is a Japanese video game designer who is best known for creating the Fire Emblem series. During his time working at Intelligent Studios, Kaga served as the director and head writer for the production of the first five main Fire Emblem games, eventually leaving the company after the release of Fire Emblem: Thracia 776 in 1999 to create his own company, Tirnanog, where he would produce games such as Tear Ring Saga and Berwick Saga.
