Jin Xing (Chinese: 金星; pinyin: Jīn Xīng; born August 13, 1967) is a Chinese ballerina, modern dancer, choreographer, actress, and the founder and artistic director of Jin Xing Dance Theatre (上海金星舞蹈团), the first contemporary dance company in Shanghai. She is a transgender celebrity, having transitioned in the 1990s and being one of the very few popularly known transgender figures in China to this day.
