Hawkins is a guard of the Second Bank of Gotham. He was Two-Face's hostage when he and his thugs robbed the bank. He was chained up and put inside a vault was a trap for Batman. The safe was then airlifted via helicopter by Two-Face and filled with acid. However, he was saved by the Dark Knight.
