背景
Katsuo Tanaka is a minor character who appears in the episodes Let You Down and Like A Boy in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. Due to being the son of a high ranking Arasaka executive, Katsuo has been able to attend the expensive Arasaka Academy, where he would eventually meet David Martinez. David's outdated braindance wreath spiked the rest of his class due to a faulty software update, angering Katsuo. The next morning, Tanaka and his friends ambush David. They take David to a back-alley, where Tanaka verbally antagonizes him, then beats him up with a martial arts chip. Later that day, Katsuo calls David and mocks him about his mother's death. Katsuo's bullying would be the inspiration for David Martinez to implant himself with the black market Sandevistan he found among his mother's things.
