i think his ti-ne usage and inf fe in his interactions with sakurai was prominent the entire show. one of the examples (spoilers) there is an episode where he sees sakurai with her brother and he misinterpret it as something else (he thought it was some guy) so he was detached from the world (possibly theorising abt who the "guy" he saw was) until sakurai gave him a chocolate and an explanation lol. i cant see much se as he doesnt seem to rely on his senses nor does he pay attention to his environment most of the time, but instead uses his ne since the first time he showed up with the wrong number call. so ti-ne is more likely as a possibility then ti-se imo.
