i started taking an interest in Japanese culture because there’s an exchange trip program that i wanted to go on and still really want to go on and i am currently learning Japanese language and like learning facts about the culture and history. since i am not Japanese, i want to do so in a way that respects the culture and does not appropriate or mock it, and i am sincerely sorry if i did early on, i just enjoy learning about it and i think it’s neat! what type is going to depend on what aspect of culture a person likes (history, pop culture, language, art) but INFP is likely to see the beauty in different cultures and i think INFP > INTP because inf Fe types when they come into contact with Japanese social norms might feel alienated, but again it depends on what aspect of culture they like to study, i can also imagine Si doms liking to learn the history, the language, or the customs.
