背景
Jacques is a Canadian figure skater, whose dream is to win the gold at the Olympics. When he finally got the chance, he unintentionally dropped his partner face-first on the ice, and the two became national embarrassments. They are conniving performers who signed up for the race to prove that they are still winners. The two will do whatever it takes to guarantee a victory all while flashing a show-ready smile, which he and Josee often do throughout the show. While just as determined to come in first as Josee, he is not as obsessed as she is and tries to be the voice of reason, making him a lesser of two evils. However, he is not above sabotaging other teams and usually goes along with Josee's demands, taking the brunt of most of the abuse.
