This one is pretty obvious. Tezla was a visionary and he trusted no one but himself with the AcceleChargers.. proven by him giving Tork a fake AcceleCharger in the Cosmic Realm. Tezla only added EDR to the cars after Nolo won the Swamp Realm AcceleCharger.. he obviously didn't care about the drivers, he only cared about the AcceleChargers. Remember what he said when Nolo got captured in the Metro Realm? He would do anything to keep hold of the AcceleChargers even if he had to lose his drivers.
