He is not a hero, not an xNFJ being a savior for the sake of saving, but a miraculous weirdo that clearly had a ton of responsibility dumped on him as a court mage, which he was as unfit to be as Arthuria was to be king. He only helped save the world because it would be boring without humans around. Just a reminder, the man locked himself up in a tower on an island beyond time and space to forever watch over what humanity is up to. Please stop saying his Ne is not showing, his Ne is just suppressed by the conformity of a developed Si-inf. In his revelations he comes across as having almost always been "lost", if anything, and his whole image is one of a man constantly dissociating, which is also where the best of his qualities are derived from: he appeared to be a great deal of help in goal-setting thanks to his objectivity, which came from never treating problems as such that would impact him personally. Other than that - a bunch of knowledge caged in the unaging body of a disoriented lil weirdo. Very xNTP.
