I went back and forth between thinking 2 or 3, but I ended up leaning towards a 2w3 because when he’s under stress he gets angry and seems to move to 8. If he were a 3, he would move to 9, numb his feelings and become passive. When he thought America was leaving the palace he “spoke intensely” and “charged” her for a kiss. To me that sounds more like he disintegrates to 8 than 9.
