Zoey Brooks is the main protagonist of Zoey 101. She is roommates with Nicole and Dana in season 1, Lola and Nicole in season 2 and Quinn and Lola in season 3. Zoey is intelligent, protective, competitive, selfless, loyal and is very popular on the PCA campus. Zoey is also very opinionated and does not flinch from taking action when necessary. This is often in service of protecting her friends or trying to right a wrong on campus, no matter how big or small. These actions earn her the reputation of being the leader of the group. This has helped her in the campus elections but this trait has also harmed her. Zoey is almost always successful in her endeavors, but this isn't always the case. One such instance was when she joined the wrestling team despite being a girl. This was after she was seen stopping a fight. This did not end well for Zoey as she wound up being knocked unconscious and defeated by undefeated wrestling champion Chuck Javers. She is the love interest of Chase Matthews.
