I know everyone seems to think he is a 2, and I use to as well, but I think he is actually the counter 8. Think about it; 2s tend to dislike/avoid conflict, have a hard time saying “no,” and they’re people pleasers (especially 2w3). That does not describe Kendall. He never backs down from conflict, in fact there are times he intentionally says what he knows will cause Gustavo to get mad. He is direct in his communication and he doesn’t care what others think of him. He is obviously in tune with the emotion of anger (as 8s are). He is also very loyal, and counter 8s are sometimes described as the “friendship 8.” They express aggression, in service to other people, they are protective, and unlike other 8s, their anger is mitigated by and they have a care for the needs of the social group. I’m calling him a counter 8, until someone gives me a convincing argument as to why he is a 2.
