I think what I remember about Taurus proves he is a blueprint of SP6. He constantly acts warm in order to be accepted, submitting to Vriska's orders to provide survival, dislikes confrontation to the point he can't be aggressive to others at all, has once referred to an abstract authority over Rufio's personality to make himself feel stronger, etc. If he is a core 9, SX9 suits him way better with all of these traits, but I don't see him as very mentally slothful (but quite naive and principled at the same time).
