It's important not to type scientists based on the work they're famous for and type them based on the people they actually were. And seriously, go look up info on Tycho Brahe. This guy was one of the most hilariously eccentric people on the planet for his time. Sure, he took 30 years worth of astronomical observations, but Tycho's main profession was being a Danish nobleman. A very crazy Danish nobleman. For example, one day, Tycho was bored and decided to hire a future-telling dwarf named Jepp to be a part of his court. He was also known for getting himself into sword duels over arguments, in which he got his nose cut off twice, after which he wore a brass prosthetic nose for the rest of his life.

Tycho Brahe ( TY-koh BRAH(-hee) - BRAH-(h)ə; born Tyge Ottesen Brahe; 14 December 1546 – 24 October 1601) was a Danish nobleman, astronomer, and writer known for his accurate and comprehensive astronomical observations. He was born in the then Danish peninsula of Scania. Tycho was well known in his lifetime as an astronomer, astrologer, and alchemist.
