He was confrontational when it came to his ideals: the students he picked in his house were required to be brave enough to stand up for those in need. Godric was also known to be accepting: he was the most in favour of allowing muggle-borns in the school. Other houses sometimes consider Gryffindors self-righteous people who engage in “pointless heroics” which can be lumped into strong Fe behaviour which was also valued by their founder. Introverted Intuition: Like the other founders Gryffindor had a one great vision: to create a school for young witches and wizards. Determination was one of the values Godric preferred in his students: a clear goal which was then achieved. He also new that his help might be needed after his death so he tied his sword to the Sorting hat so that any true Gryffindor in trouble could draw it out. 背景

Godric Gryffindor (fl. c. 993) was an English wizard and one of the four founders of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He was great friends with Salazar Slytherin, but opposed him when he later thought that they should not accept Muggle-born students at Hogwarts. It is unknown when he died. In his honour Gryffindor's birthplace became known as Godric's Hollow. Godric Gryffindor's portrait still remains at Hogwarts.
