Stereotypical ESTJ bully with more ego than hair on his head. Him and Gordon are both blunt and straightforward (Te dom), but Gordon actually tells the contestants what's wrong with the dish while Joe straight up insults the food and the contestants (poorly developed inferior Fi). He is a restauranteur, he has high standards (Si aux), but he is nowhere near as talented as Gordon. His mother gave him a career, I hate this Gordon wannabe.

Joseph Bastianich (born September 17, 1968) is an American restaurateur, winemaker, vineyard owner, author, showman, television personality, guitarist, and musician. He, along with partners Lidia Bastianich and Mario Batali, co-owns thirty restaurants in four countries, including Babbo (1 Michelin star) and Del Posto in New York; Carnevino in Las Vegas; Osteria Mozza in Singapore; and the Pizzeria eateries in Los Angeles, which the owners expanded in 2010. Earlier that same year, the trio teamed up with Italian retail businessman Oscar Farinetti to bring Eataly, an upscale food and wine market, to Boston, Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and New York City.
