Hot take but i see gin ibushi as so9 and not so7, why? (NOT SPOILER FREE) Well, i think we all already know hes a se dom and not a ne dom, so from the base of him being sensor, i doubt him being so7 because of how intuitive this type is (using naranjos description). - "The social seven lives of projects and fantasies around how he can fulfill his dreams, mistaking imagination as a concrete act of accomplishment and limiting himself to the idealized illusion. It is typical for him to start new projects with enthusiasm only then to abandon them on the phase of practical realization" As someone who voted him as so7 before i can get why yall vote him as so7, but i dont really see this in gin + it contradicts with how his se is aware of his surroundings all the time and how he process information based on just his senses, and also i dont see the "projects and fantasies", the "idealized illusion" or the "frustration based on the practical realization in projects" in gin in any way. And now ill explain why i see gin as so9, I'll put some parts of the so9 definition and saying how i correlate it to gin. (Also i have to mention so9s are commonly confused for 7s) -"Social 9 can be described as the need to be in the group. Sloth manifests as a constant mercing with the group, emulating socially acceptable forms of behavior and communication in hopes of gaining acceptance. Often they replce bonds by acting as if the group values and wants, or values of anyone else, are their own, often accepting these social norms without questioning them." -"So9s will do whatever as long the group is on harmony." -"Social e9 continues to live for others while neglecting his personal needs" -"so9 can lead to them often staying in situations they do not want to be in" I do see this definitions in gin, because as he mentioned in the game, at school he was part of the 'group' with all of his other classmates, and even when he also said that he doesnt like them (this relating to them staying in situations they do not want to be in), he will do whatever as long the group is on harmony, just like he did with his in-game clothes. He stopped wearing them because his classmates (and teachers) gets mad at him whenever he wears it and dont approve it, even when he finds it easier to communicate with his in-game clothes and when he was for some time unable to go outside without his in-game clothes. Neglecting his own needs to be a part of the group and adapting to the social norms and other peoples values, that explaining in some way how people of his group have the impression of him being obedient. (Also being a trait/perception of so9) -"Forgetfulness is frequent in this type, which is to be expected a they cover so many activities in such a short period of time. It is very difficult for them to recognize their own limits" -"Their belief of not having what it takes to be part of the group leads them to overcompensate, to express a kind of generosity, being attentive to others and the group." -"The so9 are the workaholics of the enneagram. They feel like they have to give a lot, but at the same time they have to be nice and pleasant." I do see this 3 definitions on gin because of how he is always attentive to everyone in-game, always cheering them up and getting attached to them pretty easily. Also how he always attempts his best to help the group by finding out clues and remaining always strong despite the cirscunstances, easily forgetting their own limits, this explaining him falling in traps trying to look for clues like in episode 1 when he was looking after nao and when he tried to help hayasaka and ended trapped with him, also him trying to give a lot by himself like the time they sneaked all the way from the third floor to the first floor to investigate or when he volunteers as the challenger in the chapter 3.1b, putting himself in risk of being drilled for his group.
