Flying a BTL-A4 Y-wing assault starfighter/bomber under the callsign Gold Nine, Goban engaged with the Imperial forces stationed above Scarif. Under orders from Admiral Raddus, she led a group of Y-wings in strafing the Imperial I-class Star Destroyer Persecutor with ion torpedos.
