A good way to determine The Classic Writers' type is to compare their writings with other writers. I saw a comment saying that Tolstoy and Dostoyevsky are not the same type! Well, Dostoyevsky was a very special writer, his Ti was too strong for an INFJ, but it doesn't make Dostoyevsky's Type different with Tolstoy; Tolstoy's books have bloody Ni-Fe vibes, his Ti is Obvious in the book named Childhood. Compare him with Nietzsche & Camus who were Fi users, their writings are more like poetical & emotional writings, but Tolstoy & Dostoyevsky are more Psychological and Sociological. Reading his Biography can give you a pic of his Fe. I know he was a bit cruel with his wife, but it doesn't mean Fi-Te, it is unhealthy Fe, as he was a popular figure in Russian Society, but an A-hole in his home.
