Can someone explain why he is a 4? The movie was sure to tell us during the whole runtime that he is symbolic for the good and the peace. He doesn't have any personal needs and desires, he just strives to make a better outside world. His emotions has almost zero relevance to the story, since his philosophy and ideology Aren't unique to him, or something that he actually connected emotionally to, but just the regular philosophy of Karate, and his goal is to pass it to Daniel. An example of this would be the reason that he started to train Daniel in the first place: he didn't want to connect with Daniel or pass him his ideology, he just wanted that this guy won't take revenge on Johnny.
背景
The founder of Miyagi-Do Karate. A Japanese-American World War II veteran and karate master born in Okinawa who becomes the mentor of Daniel LaRusso, Julie Pierce, and Daniel's daughter Sam. He died in 2011. After Cobra Kai dojo's resurgence in 2017, Daniel resurrects Miyagi-Do following the 2018 All Valley Tournament filling Mr. Miyagi's teachings unto a new generation of fighters.
