5TE was a B2-series super battle droid who fought for the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the battle between the Confederacy and the Jedi Order on the planet Geonosis in 22 BBY. It survived long enough to be amongst the droids who surrounded the Jedi strike team when Separatist leader Count Dooku offered them a chance of surrender.
