Hayao Miyazaki MBTI性格类型
性格
"Hayao Miyazaki是什么人格? Hayao Miyazaki是MBTI中的INFP人格类型,九型中的1w9 - sp/sx - 146,五大类型中的RCOEI,Socionics中EII类型。"
I made a previous comment stating his relationship with his son as an argument for INFP, which I agree is flawed because it could have been shaped by Japanese culture, so here's my another attempt of typing him with more examples: 1. His values come from inwards - they only make sense to himself and that others would not understand how they came to be without the context of how those values were derived, and the source of those values were often times from his past experiences and own childhood. e.g. He believes children should be allowed to play outside and get their hands dirty, and this specific value is more important to him than to others because of how he personally grew up. He does not draw insights on general humanity (Ni-Fe), he values selective subject matters by way of personal experience (Fi-Si). This is the same reason he hates war and wants the world to be overtaken by trees - it's his Fi pet peeve since youth. He also inserts his beliefs into every single work he makes like it's his signature. 2. He uses Ne rather than Ni. He is not an organized person, he is simply a perfectionist at details (Si) and likes to fine tune his work until it's perfect. He is not good at planning - he even openly admitted that when he draws, he lets his "artist spirit" flow freely and he doesn't know how it will turn out until it's done. It just naturally connects tgt as he goes, which is Ne making connections in real time, ultimately serving the Fi. He also likes to include images from his memories, like that train scene in Spirited Away, which is a random flashback he had that he had a personal attachment to so he decided to include it in (Si). 3. I think a lot of people here mentioned that he has too good use of Te to be an INFP. I would argue that his Te isn't even good. Being able to get something done or manage a team doesn't mean someone has good Te. A huge Fi passion + extremely strict Si can still do the trick (same reason why he can be ennea 1 without good Te). Plus his Te clearly serves his Fi, when he uses Te (imposes expectations on his son, tries to achieve goals with his works), it's never truly objective. It's always driven by Fi values. He is not even remotely an objective person who focuses on things, it's always about people, and his projection of those people (he really likes writing about innocent girls because they symbolize his ideals). And when he writes about these people, it's usually about individuality, finding oneself (Spirited Away), and the human condition (Kiki's Delivery Service), with a dab of exploring the unknown (Ne) and being adventurous (Totoro, Castle in the Sky).
