Although typing fictional characters is always the result of assumptions, the new game saint seiya awakening provide some new content on his motivations : he follows the pope, while knowing he's actually saga, because he was the only one recognising his strength and not only his beauty. Most of all, he describes his personal affection toward him and his willingness to protect him at all cost because of this. This seems very much into that protective and devotion driven lover/supporter archetype which, in Japanese culture, seems related to the SFJ stereotype in my opinion. I still get the SFP vibe, but it seems more congruent in a western point of view. P.S. I'm not an English native, so sorry for my bad writing, i hope what i meant was still clear somehow ^^
