SPOILER WARNING:Alright, so I am going to delve into an extensive reasoning on why I think that shintaro is an LII So/Sx 5 LVEF RCUEI(yes, not RLUEI as it would appear to be ). For his big 5 , based on the show alone one would normally type him RLUEI , but note that he wasn’t always this neurotic , I mean just go back to the scenes before ayano,haruka and akane’s death. He was a full blown arrogant prick , had no problem going to challenge the national second position holder and even mocked her before and while gaming with her . And that was after he met ayano , meaning after his character softened a bit . Imagine how the guy would have been before , a total uncaring arrogant bastard who thinks he is better than everyone and that nothing matters , someone who is like this ain’t neurotic at all .So my take is before the time skip , he was an RCUEI , after the time skip he looked like a RLUEI , but his limbic behavior isn’t inherent to his personality but a developed behavior under extreme stress and unfavorable conditions . Even the most calm person would ,especially since he is an So5 and ayano was really his totem (I’ll come to this later) , crash if all of his three friends ,who he made after being friendless lost his life and believing he cannot expect anything from the world ,died at the same day.This is also apparent towards the end of the series where we see that he becomes progressively less and less limbic after meeting the Dan , and even becomes kind of proactive in defending them and in defending his sister especially . In the manga , his reaction to her death was not one where he panicked , but he calmly went to his computer and searched for the killer all while devising a plan to counter him . Same thing when the other members died , he didn’t panic . If u guys noticed his panicky state is mostly theatrical , he never panics when it truly counts. Same in the terrorist incident , He thought of a plan to stop em and was 100 percent sure of it’s success , that’s pure Ti base logic confidence by the way . When looking behind the theatrical exterior , u can easily spot he is actually an RCUEI . As I stated before , the Dude is Ti base based on How he demonstrated his systematic logic throughout the series . In the terrorist attack , he had a plan , The plan wasn’t Ni based , he didn’t foresee how the criminals would move or how he would get to the terminal to branch ene . He stated : if I had an opportunity , My plan would 100 percent succeed . That’s conditional logic right there , pure deductive , hypothesis based logic . He generated or thought of the scenario he would need to succeed . That’s pure Ti-Ne. Another Ti-Ne plan he made was the manga’s plan to counter Kuroha , he didn’t understand or figure out how the enemy would move and make a plan based on that . He made a systematic plan of if this happens , we should do this , if this happens we should do that . And invited the enemy to enter to the domain of his plan , his rules , there was always a fallback plan when one part of the plan failed , and the fallback was the most optimal choice even if that would result in the sacrifice of one of the Dan members (Kano for example ) . But the ultimate showcase of Ti-Ne was his plan in the novel . How he deconstructed and understood the concept of the daze on his own . Ofc he used the data he got through his eyes , that was Si activating , but he used that the mainly understand the full scale of the situation and theorize about the abilities of the enemy and the time loop , and he even made a plan that took into account the time loop itself in order to put an end to this tragedy. The way he went about deconstructing the daze concept and theorizing all that from his memories is pure Ti-Ne and Ne-Si axis.It id also apparent that his Se is vulnerable , he has no will power usually and just goes with the flow , it is only under stressful situation that his will appear(when he talked back to the terrorist, when he stood up against Kano saying that momo doesn’t want to go with him , in all these stressful situations shintaro was hesitant at first , drew his courage , then expressed his will in an almost clumsy way . That’s Se vulnerable right there), this also matches with flexible volition . So we have established that Shintaro is an LII no doubt. And a LVEF ( confident logic, flexible will, vulnerable emotions(no doubt),ignoring physique ) . The reason I think his enneagram is the So/Sx5 is that he has a desire to belong even tho he doesn’t say that, that manifested through how he enjoyed best his time with ayano, akane and haruka (his Sx secondary manifests in how intense his relationship with each of them was) and the Dan . But also , even when he was a shut in , he always had ene besides him and even was a « keyboard warrior » meaning he never gave up his social identity but took another one after his Totem (Ayano) died . This is most apparent through how he lives only to remember her .(out of words)
