I’m a little surprised that there’s not more Enneagram 4 votes He decides to be terrible because he’s ashamed that he feels that everyone else is above him, and thinks down on him, so he decides to double down on his shame as a big F-U to society, but it’s at the same time it’s a silent (or not so silent) cry for help from those same people. Which seems to be 4 He’s driven by an acute sense of shame, wants to be rescued by displaying his awfulness, and is very self pitying. His intensity over his environment and the affairs of his life I feel is more Se dom than 8 or 7ish behaviour. Because 7s aren’t DRIVEN by shame. And they don’t make their whole life about their feelings. And 8s aren’t chronically driven by a feeling of inadequacy in themselves, or by spiteful awfulness, out of self pity Also, when he gets in distress, he moves towards people, and becomes weirdly clingy and emotionally manipulative, for the love he “wants”. Which to me looks like 4 disintegrating to 2 in stress I would put forward that he’s an ESTP, Se, Ti, Fe, Ni, E4w3 (for his business successes, and his entrepreneurial aptitude)
