✧✧✧ Is Chisa Fe–Ti or Te–Fi? ✧✧✧ In the parts of the Wuwa story that describe Chisa’s past, there are a few details worth paying attention to: In her earlier life, Chisa learned one thing very clearly: she would rather limit—or even lose—her special ability if that meant living in harmony with the people around her. She gradually came to see the complicated systems that restrict her not simply as restraints, but as steps toward mutual acceptance. (In fact, the first time she became aware of her ability was when she used it to protect someone who was being bullied.) The second key scene appears in the illusion space, in her café. Her former classmates and friends choose to rely on her, admire her, and even call her a savior. This almost directly reflects her deepest desire: to become someone others depend on. To me, this looks more like Fe–Ti functioning. In the second part of the story, when she runs her café and hosts parties for others, the way she takes care of people also matches Fe much more. As for Te, I think very little of it is actually expressed in the story. Although elements like engineering, tailoring, measuring, etc., might fit some people’s stereotypes of Te, in the actual narrative I believe it shows much more Fe–Ti. Regarding Fi, I tend to think her Fi lies on the shadow side—she doesn’t really know what she wants, or at least is not consciously aware of it. Her personal story illustrates this well. So overall, Fe plays the more central and purposeful role, both in her backstory and in her current storyline. ✧✧✧ Is Chisa Si–Ne or Ni–Se? ✧✧✧ If we follow common stereotypes, then many of Chisa’s behaviors could indeed be categorized as Si, because she mentions memories that resurface when she encounters similar scenery, and in her voice lines she also talks about her childhood. But wait, can we really determine Ni or Si based only on recalling memories? Among Ni users I know (especially INFJs), nostalgia or being emotionally triggered by certain scenes is also extremely common. Of course, theoretically these two kinds of recall are different. There are also some arguments for Ni. For example, when she makes judgments about others, she places more emphasis on time and long-term development. And as mentioned above, those memory flashbacks do not guide her decisions about the future—overall, she is someone who lets go of the past. Right now, I’m not completely certain. But for now, I’m inclined to vote for Ni. Still, I won’t rule out ISFJ, or even some iXTP possibilities. If there are reasonable arguments, I’ll revise my view.
