So, I made up my mind, and here’s why Ayano is absolute garbage, in terms of her writing as a character. I am not an expert on writing myself, but the fact that… people are mistyping her as an INFJ, because her identification as a Yandere is misleading, can already prove this argument. She is absolute garbage, when it comes to her motive, because… she just literally chooses to be with someone who she doesn’t know at all. Don’t Yanderes need to at least, KNOW this guy, before choosing to kill others just to get them? Well, in this case… she isn’t a Yandere. She more or likely only wants Taro, because Taro Yamada-fucka is apparently, her only source of emotion. Not to mention, she wants to spend her life around this twink, yet cannot comprehend being 5 meters close to him, because she gets really creepy. Shouldn’t Yanderes get to know their target, before deciding they are the one they would kill for? And not to mention, Yanderes would FIRST, try to win the competition, by overpowering the others, instead of resorting to killing IN THE FIRST PLACE. Like honestly, Alex’s writing DOES NOT MAKE LOGICALLY CONSISTENCY with real humans. I am convinced he has trapped himself inside a basement, and avoided human interaction, and instead… made this trash game, with trash writing, with unrealistic characters, that TRY to be realistic. The idea was very interesting to me, because I thought I was gonna get substance to drive me to kill people for this one guy, or at least… give me unlikeable features about the competition to end them. BUT NOOO, instead, I get this boring ass dude, who doesn’t even have a personality, and is literally JUST SOME GUY. Why would I support Ayano, and her rampage of killing school girls, just to win the heart of some guy, who has no personality whatsoever. Like, I know I am being completely too critical with my judgement here, but the whole game is inconsistent with itself. It doesn’t even try to deepen itself, and it’s literally just UNEXECUTED IDEAS. Alex dreams big, but lacks the effort to continue those. They don’t even be like DDLC, where it explores the tropes, and delves deeper into their personalities, where it’s NOT JUST TROPES. With Yandere Simulator, all the characters are either, extremely predictable, and boring… or unrealistic, extremely delusional, or just… IMPOSSIBLE to comprehend in real life. Let’s talk about Ayano Aishi’s type, which is BLATANTLY OBVIOUS, an INTJ. She is an INTJ, because she is Fe PoLR, or plainly, Fe-blind. She doesn’t understand emotions, of herself, or other people. How can a Yandere manipulate other people, if they themselves, couldn’t understand the basic principle of emotion? And her whole reason of being with Taro, is her Ni-Te. She wants to experience emotions, which is her obvious envision (Ni), then she believes the easiest, or MOST EFFICIENT way she can experience emotion is by being with some random dude (Te). Combine that with her own subjective belief that, the guy who makes you wet gives you emotions (Fi), and when it comes to murdering people, she observes everyone, and everything around her (Se), you get the INTJ’s set of cognitive functions. She is devoid of social harmony, understanding other’s emotions, and being NORMAL. Honestly, this game is much better labeled off as “Obsessive Psychopath Simulator: School Girl Edition”, or something along those lines. Ayano is labeled as a Yandere, yet completely fails with being common with the trope, which is ironic, considering, most of the OTHER characters follow simple tropes. Osana = Tsundere, Taro = Harem Protagonist, Kizana = Heather Chandler rip-off, Muja = Mikan Tsumiki rip-off, Osoro = WattPad Badboy, Hanako = Childish Younger Sibling, and Megami = Little Miss Perfect/Goody Two Shoes. I’m suprised that Kokona has a WAY better character, than all of these characters COMBINED. And yeah, thanks for coming to my TedTalk, on why Yandere Simulator characters are trash, and don’t even have an accurate, unique, and/or realistic personality.
背景
Since early childhood, Ayano has suffered from an inexplicable, incurable condition. This condition leaves her with a perpetual sense of hollow, and incomplete. As a result, she has never been able to experience, fulfillment, or happiness and has not been able to experience emotions in the same capacity as other people. Everything changed when she came into physical contact with Taro Yamada. In that moment, she gained the ability to experience everything that had been missing from her life; she felt complete, she felt fulfilled, and she felt powerful emotions and after just one meeting, Ayano had become hopelessly addicted to Taro's presence, and came to rely on him in order to feel alive. Upon seeing a young woman who clearly had deep feelings for Taro, Ayano becomes infuriated and terrified at the thought of losing Taro. Without a moment's hesitation, She knew exactly what had to be done. This girl - her rival - had to be eliminated as soon as possible, by any means necessary.
