Kim Hanbin (Hangul: 김한빈; born October 22, 1996), better known by his stage name B.I (Hangul: 비아이), is a South Korean singer, rapper, songwriter, and record producer. He was known as the producer, songwriter, leader, lead rapper and choreographer of the South Korean boy group iKON, signed under YG Entertainment. In December 2018, B.I received the Songwriter of the Year award at the 10th Melon Music Awards through iKon's lead single "Love Scenario" , he was the youngest receiver and the only idol receiver of such award ever. After his departure from iKon in 2019, B.I was appointed as the executive director of the agency IOK Company in 2020, and established his own 131 label. He debuted as a solo artist in 2021, with his first full-length solo album titled Waterfall.
