Jimmy McNulty MBTI性格类型
性格
"Jimmy McNulty是什么人格？ Jimmy McNulty是MBTI中的ENTP人格类型，九型中的8w7 - sx/so - 874，五大类型中的SLUEI，Socionics中ILE类型。"
It seems like the character's creator described the same thing I was getting at ("intellectual vanity") which is clearly an NT trait as well as the "game" of solving something (again something xNTPs are most stimulated by). David Simon, the character's creator, has described his goal of presenting McNulty as ambiguous in his motivations. Based on his experiences of real detectives he feels that most crime dramas present their police characters with the inherent falsehood that they care deeply about the victims in the cases they are investigating. Simon states that in his experience a good detective is usually motivated by the game of solving the crime - he sees the crime as an "insult to his intellectual vanity" and this gives him motivation to solve it.
背景
The closest thing to a main character in The Wire. A detective in Homicide, he is an alcoholic womanizer, something of a deadbeat, insubordinate toward his supervisors, and known for coming up with creative solutions to hard cases. His disrespect for the chain of command makes him many enemies among his superiors, while his self-destructive behavior alienates his peers and friends.
