背景
The Silmarillion is a book which is a collection of J.R.R. Tolkien's works, edited and published posthumously by his son Christopher Tolkien. It describes the ancient mythology of The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit and overall Middle-earth. It also tells about another continent called Aman (Valinor) where the Ainur live with the High Elves. Some familiar characters appear on it, namely Gandalf, Galadriel and Celeborn. “The Silmarillion is the history of the War of the Exiled Elves against the Enemy, which all takes place in the North-west of the world (Middle-earth).
