Joy is trying to find her mother Cassandra, who left her a note and disappeared a few days ago, and worries that she might already be dead. When Ronan points out that she'll need his help to find her mother, she reluctantly agrees to form a partnership with him. Ronan tries to keep her safe when he realizes that the Bell Killer is specifically targetting her.
