Even if we insist on using playstyle as a valid metric in determining a player's type (which is debatable and not as accurate a means of typing players as how they carry themselves outside of playing) he is methodical in everything he does, in tandem with his secondary Te this serves him greatly and he is able to be extremely efficient. His off-court demeanour is highly reminiscent of Pete Sampras, another ISTJ, for reference. His disposition is one of the archetypal IXTJ 1w9. Te/Fi is evident, and Ti (as well as Fe, obviously) is nowhere to be found. Andy Murray, certified ISTP, isn't one simply because he's an introverted, unsmiling athlete. He very evidently displays the Ti and Se that Sinner lacks, as well as the inferior Fe which he has learnt to rely on more heavily over time.

Jannik Sinner (born 2001) is an Italian professional tennis player. He has been ranked as high as No. 10 in the world by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). At the 2020 French Open, he became the youngest quarterfinalist in the men's singles event since Novak Djokovic in 2006. He won his first ATP title at the 2020 Sofia Open, and is the youngest ATP title-holder since 2008.
