The only argument that I found for him being a 1 is on how he's too precise about water pressure. But, aren't 1s more concerned with internal ethics rather than external / physical perfections? I just don't see how he has a "strong sense of right and wrong" when he was literally kicked out cause he was being too promiscuous and didn't follow his father's orders. On that same reason, I think he's more of a 7 with an 8 wing, especially on how he took full control and responsibility with his work in order to get his life back.
