For those who are confused about Saki's introverted or extroverted attitude, a brief explanation is in order. Feeling is a rational function that seeks to assign meaning to observed objects, but it doesn't necessarily do so based on what is true or false (as thinking does); instead, it focuses on assigning value and identifying what is good or bad, regardless of whether it is true or not. With this in mind, we can outline two types of attitudes, one introverted and the other extroverted, which, in general, we can say are: → Fe: Seeks to assign value based on external factors; it doesn't look inward to define what is right or wrong, but looks to the external world and asks itself, "What do other people consider right or good?" → Fi: Seeks to assign value based on internal factors; it looks inward, searching for what it itself considers good or bad, asking itself, "What do I think is good?" even if this goes against external values. Now, which of these fits Saki best? I believe it's the extroverted attitude, because at no point do we see Saki reflecting on what she herself wants or what she considers good or bad; instead, she constantly tries to conform to other people's standards to be accepted. Of course, Fi users also want to be accepted, but the difference is that they want to be accepted for who they genuinely are, and not for what others want them to be, something we definitely don't see in Saki. The most striking example I can remember was when Saki had her first abortion. She clearly didn't want to do it, but she did it because Hayato wanted her to, even though it was painful for her (Fe > Fi). Later, when Saki ended her relationship with Hayato and discovered she was pregnant again, she decided to keep the baby. A curious fact here is that she began to place her hope in the daughter who would come in the future; it's as if she never looked within herself to find her own path, it's as if she was constantly living in a spiral of trying to be accepted and validated externally in some way, first by her classmates, then by Hayato, then by her daughter.
