Spoiler warning for the first book: I finished reading all the books and can finally say he's an INFP. He is not 4w5 because his core values revolve around everyone around him getting along, although I am open to the idea that he might have it in his tri-type. Initially I thought he was a fe user because of his enneagram type needing unity, but he's actually using fi to put himself in other peoples shoes, which is different from a fe user who demands social rules, so much so that I think that if he were fe he probably would not have left the hive at all, and probably end up like his father. His introspectiveness and inclination to his own moral rules despite others influential around him (Luna and Swordtail) around him having quite opposite views is what let him take action in his initial book, without becoming radical with hate for all hivewings like his peers.
