Marcus Glenn Pearson is a former friend/employee of MrBeast. An official reason as to why he was fired is unknown, but most believe it was due to drug related issues. Though, there is a possibility that he was laid off due to the economic recession following COVID-19. Following Pearson's termination, he took to his Instagram story to accuse MrBeast of creating the coronavirus, claimed his termination was purely based on race, and reference harm towards MrBeast. As Pearson had previously posted images of himself drinking and smoking unknown substances in the past, it is likely that he had made the accusations under the influence of drugs.
