He’s such an ENTP imo. Could be wrong though, but all my ENTP friends act like him (even when it comes to pursuing their crushes), have the same interests, and kind of tackles situations the same way. - I noticed most ENTPs are film junkies because it engages their Ne and inf Si, liking sensory input (observing experiences) they can absorb at their own pace, while also having their own database (collection) of films and stories to potentially talk to about others (they like to critic, debate and persuade their own viewpoint and its relation to the films’ theories) or even just analyzing them on their own. He was very poetic describing his own thoughts when he was showing Minase his father’s film and why he liked it (which I might add, he explained his opinion and sentiments in a very abstract way to express why he liked it, whereas Minase, being an assumed sensor, didn’t understand what Hirukawa meant at all—Hirukawa likes delving into deeper meanings, which is the biggest indication for a preference for intuition. It might also explain why his character seems enigmatic too, like people around him think his motives are hard to understand). (If the ENTP is not into films, it’s probably an area of expertise that involves some type of collection or their own set of systems that’s very similar). - Since ENTPs have inf Si, I notice they can withstand difficult situations even at the detriment of neglecting their wellbeing, because they’re busy caring about those that are important to them, like family, friends, etc. (Like what he’s doing to his dad, to protect his mom, etc.). Another interesting thing I noticed is that he has never been in a relationship or gets into hookups despite having this “bad boy” image. I think that’s connected to him being an NT, seeing relationships as something bigger than just a physical connection, or at the very least, ignores the importance because of his lower sensing and feeling functions. I also noticed he didn’t really even think about the impact of it being a gay relationship either, like he wasn’t really concerned about it which is such an Ne, Fe and Trickster Fi thing imo. Ne values openness, and that Trickster Fi requires a strong intrapersonal communication or connection, but I noticed how he approaches Minase is not something that comes from self reflection of feelings and morals (“Am I gay?” “Why do I like this guy” “How come I’m so into him?” “Am I wrong for doing this?”), but mostly the vibe is “He makes me feel like I’m cared for and seen, therefore I want to make him feel good (child Fe, and aux Ti not giving af about what others think as long as the situation fits his inner world, also demon Se not caring if it makes situations uncomfortable) - Trickster Fi and Demon Se is shown through his reputation at school/uni. ENTPs can be unaware of how their actions might affect how others feel about them, and these shadow functions come up most when they’re functioning under stress. - Which leads me to mentioning how he tests boundaries which is such an ENTP thing, and he’s not shy about it either. Minase dared Hirukawa to kiss him and he didn’t even hesitate or chicken out, and knowing ENTPs, he probably even orchestrated getting that close to Minase in his head anyways and just waiting for the situation to fall in his lap and take it right away. - That Fe child makes them lowkey very caring and wanting to show affection in their own way, almost a bit playfully. You can see this when engaging with Minase, even getting told “you’re like a child.” They’re very eager when they like someone, and because they’re extroverted, they initiate most times. The subconscious inf Si can make them very loyal, especially when their ideas are challenged or they can see their imagination and plans being possible (they can back out once they don’t see the possibility happening anymore but that’s such a rare thing due to their unbridled determination). Note: I know this is so long and now I seem like I have no life 💀 but believe me I just like analyzing and sharing my input, and even though I’m not big on ENTP characters, Hirukawa has been very compelling to me because he seems like a walking paradox but I was able to clock his personality type because my ENTP friends act exactly like him and it’s so hilarious seeing a character like him and god knows how Minase is able to deal with all of that (in a good way?). IDK yall i could be wrong but that’s just my observation and connecting it with other ENTPs. and idk why he’s being voted as a sensor? is it because he’s assertive, can sometimes not think about the consequences of his actions (which is mistaken for Se preference for present time perception), confident or a bit domineering? like i don’t get it lowkey!!!? 💀 like as i said i might be wrong about him being an ENTP but I FOR SURE will not accept him as a sensor plsss it doesnt makes sense to me no pun intended😭😭😭 ty for reading yes im a loser!
