It is a Primal Demon. Primal Demons are shadowy demons that kill anything in their path, demon or otherwise, as opposed to normal demons that only kill humans. There is a primal demon in the locked zone which can be avoided by moving quietly and hiding in bushes. It is drawn to bright lights. It walks on two legs with a large torso, long winding neck, and six small appendages atop its head.
