【 𝐍𝐢𝐤𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞'𝐬 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐬: 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐎𝐧𝐞 (𝐌𝐁𝐓𝐈) 】 【 𝐀𝐫𝐠𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐈𝐍𝐅𝐉~~ 】 【 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐎𝐧𝐞: 𝐍𝐢 𝐃𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐭 - 𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐎𝐧𝐞 】 Nikelle is a character that uses both Fe and Fi depending on the situation, and he even uses a little bit of Se and Si if the occasion calls for it as well. So even though I've typed him as an INFJ, I can understand IxFP or ISFJ votes. However, there's something that Nikelle has that IxFP and ISFJ's don't, and that is overwhelmingly prominent Ni and little to zero Ne, which rules out INFP and ISFJ and weakens the ISFP arguments where Ni isn't the dominant function. On a multitude of occasions that can be found in each chapter that's in his point of view, he's always analyzing something's function or trying to find the deeper meaning in whatever he sees. Examples of these moments are: 1. His nine-paragraph speech about how different him and Jaya were and how that’s why they made a good team according to the public opinion. It’s true that those paragraphs were a good chance to explain the magic system and how the world worked on my part as the author, but it also delves into a lot of Nikelle’s natural thought process. I mean, he spent NINE paragraphs just to explain all the reasons why him and Jaya were compatible teammates, and explained it by comparing their personality, magic classes, skillsets, and even something like their appearances that may seem insignificant to most. He analyzed every little detail to come to that symbolic conclusion, and he’s not really basing this reasoning off his past experiences with Jaya and teamwork like a Si user would be inclined to do. Instead, he’s more focused on how they’re “ideally” a good pair because of all the features he lists, which are more subjective opinions he’s observed through marketing and social media rather than actual, concrete facts and experiences on his part. Nikelle is always drawing conclusions like this, and he’s always trying to find patterns in everything he sees, and that whole nine-paragraph monologue he delved into really displays that. 2. His initial inability to understand the Ace of Wands Dungeon and how he’d already had an idea of what it SHOULD be based on the patterns he picked up in the tarot cards (Ni-Ti), compared to a Si user who probably wouldn’t draw any concrete conclusions in their head until they actually experienced and witnessed the Dungeon firsthand themselves. Not to mention what he tells Jaya… | “The Ace of Wands is a card that represents creative success and passionate initiative. It’s a card that is full of energy and a drive to act and succeed, so why in the world did it appear in a location where two lovers committed suicide? Not only is that a horrible, twisted form of love, but it contradicts the successful image this card is all about. Ending your life is a way of giving up, no matter what fancy explanation you put on it. Those lovers explained that it was their declaration of love, but in the end, all they did was give up together. This card’s energy should despise that, yet it chose to appear at this very location. So, I don’t get it.” | His mind is working so fast to try and make sense of this Dungeon based on patterns that he has no proof actually exist (Ni-Ti), and his subjective logic (Ti) definitely plays a hand-in-hand role with his Ni. And I’m sorry but… before that moment, he'd never actually been inside a Dungeon before, so how would he know what to expect with no prior experience? The fact he'd been expecting anything at all with no past interactions with any Dungeons negates Si entirely, which is focused on utilizing past experiences to draw conclusions in the present, and instead proves that he's using Ni because of how he conceptualized the meaning of the tarot card and tries to apply that concept to the Dungeon to create a placeholder for what he didn't know. And then that whole speech about how the dungeon didn't make any sense, and how it didn’t correlate with its respective tarot card at all? Ni is all about finding connections and correlating ideas, and that's exactly what Nikelle was doing.
