I'm actually not sure about his type, but here are some things about him from his interview with Rolling Stone Korea and his Kprofiles page: 1. He started out as a model, but not interested in fashion. 2. He was impatient when he started acting, thinking "With this next work, I'll make my breakthrough." 3. Out of the characters he has played so far (as of 2019, probably) the character that is the closest to him in real life is Jung Hyun-tae from My Secret Romance. The current consensus for Hyun-tae is ENFJ in PDB. The thing that I've noticed from his interview is he is a say-it-as-it-is kind of person. He doesn't sugarcoat things. He straightforwardly said, "Things I will do in the future? Well I have to look for a next job for my living." Very logical, very matter-of-fact, very candid.

Kim Jae Young (born September 30,1988) is a South Korean actor and model. He is known for his roles in Love in Contract alongside Park Min Young, Beautiful Love, Wonderful Life alongside Seol In Ah, My Secret Romance, and Secret Boutique alongside Go Min Si. He also displayed his singing ability in an OST for his drama with Ryu Hye Young and Yoon Ji-on called Dear My Room.
