Obviously XSTJ. It will be my very unprofessional opinion: I feel he is extrovert because he openly talked about his sexual life with Thomas. He wanted a big family. I know her wife was pregnant bcs they wanted a boy, but I don’t think they would have stopped making children after they got one. He shared his home with his friends for a long time. It seemed to me realitionships are important to him. Tbh, my main question wasn’t whether he is an ISTJ or an ESTJ. I was thinking about whether he is an ESTJ or an ESFJ with high TE. Spoiler: When he said Ellen how he gave them everything without asking anything, I felt he was right. He really shared his home with his friends, he didn’t like Ellen, but he accepted her bcs of Thomas. He only asked them to leave when he felt his wife was in danger. So, bcs how important was his family to him, I thought maybe he was an ESFJ. (Personal opinion: He was totally right. Ellen was so insufferable in this scene.) But, I know his role was in the movie to symbolize the wealthy, carrierist man. He gave his wife and his daughters everything bcs it was and it is what society requires from a man. At beginning of the movie he told Thomas he could never resist to sex with his wife. He didn’t see her as a person. She was his wife and the mother of his children. She was his belonging. Unfortunately, these were the social norms back then, but he was my favorite character. He was so caring. 💔
