I think he's more of an ENTJ than an ESTP. He's definitely a Se-Ni user given how indulgent, but calculated he is. However, I don't think his Ni is Inferior or his Se dominant. He's very controlling, fact oriented and knows how to use laws and information to his favor. He makes a great captain for these reasons and his ability to calculate risk. I think his Ni is evident given how he's able to always tell when Claire is lying, he can't figure out what her lies are, but he can tell she is, confirm she's lying and figure out a reason why she would. This looks a lot more like Te-Ni versus Se-Ti. What little details we're given about his life indicates that he's very much bound by duty and repressing of his inner self. Between his sadistic desires and constant need to hide this showcases this. The few times we see him exercise a moral compass are when he's involved with his family and when he tries to gain people's favor. I think this is a decent indicator that he's an unhealthy ENTJ and prefers his external functions (Te-Se) more than his internal ones (Ni-Fi).
