Se dom: What you're telling them is not happening right now. In fact, the opposite of that seems to be happening. Ni dom: Their gut tells them otherwise. Plain and simple. Si dom: What you're telling them doesn't fit their experience at all. AT ALL. Fi dom: It doesn't fit their values, and they're not gonna just do something if it's not what they would do. Ti dom: IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. Ne dom: .... I can kinda see that. (just kidding. This is Ne skepticism): They just don't think you looked into all the possibilities, or considered a particular theory they proposed.
