I see Se more than Ne with Laban. He clearly valued money and tangible pleasures of the world more than ideas. When Nephi tried to speak reason with Lemuel and him, rather than debate him, Laban’s first instinct was to physically harm Nephi or to plot to kill him. He had no interest in gathering or investigating information like you would see in an Ne. Rather, he was impulsive and power hungry, which is more typical in ESTP’s.
